Hello Golfers!
Thank you for participating in our tournament and supporting the Shippensburg University Marching Band! We are reaching out ahead of the event to provide you with some details.
Date: April 25, 2026
Time: Registration opens at 6:30am, Tournament starts at 8:00am

Registration
When you arrive, enter the Club House and look for the registration table near the pro shop.
Games, Raffles & Advantage Opportunities
Packages and A La Carte Options are available for purchase until 8am. Cash is preferred, but cards are accepted at registration. Individual on course games are cash only.

Closest to the Pin (men & womens) - Prize: SUMB Branded Golf Balls

Mulligan package: 2 Mulligans + 1 Powerball Play
A la Carte Options
Mulligan Package (2 Mulligans & 1 Powerball - $20
50/50 Raffle - 15 tickets for $10
Raffle Tickets - 15 tickets for $10
On Course Games (pay at hole)
Corn Hole Game - $10 for 2 throws; $5 for each additional throw
Straightest Drive - $10
Putting Green - $10 for two (2) putts if not purchased in package; $5 to play a second time
Raffle Items
Themed baskets and items will be raffled off at lunch.
Prizes
3 Flights of Winners
1st Place Team in each flight gets a 4 rounds of golf at Eagles Crossing (no cart)
2nd Place Team in each flight get a Golf Simulator Prize
3rd Place Team in each flight gets 4 $25 Gift Cards to Eagles Crossing
Food & Beverages
Doughnuts will be available during registration.
Beer, gatorade, and water will be available on the golf course.
Lunch will be served around 12:30pm and includes BBQ meats, salad, beans, mac-n-cheese, soda, and cookies.

The Shippensburg University Marching Band has built a legacy of excellence serving as SU’s centerpiece of school spirit and pride for 100 years. Throughout the Ship community, our student-led organization carries a reputation that is tough to match. As long-time supporter Bill Dean says, we’re the “best band in the land” and are proud to represent Ship at home and away football games, exhibition performances, and recent premier performances in the Czech Republic, Italy & Ireland.
As you can imagine, there are significant costs each year associated with the operation of the SUMB. From increased travel opportunities, meal offerings, and equipment and uniform costs, we often require additional funding to do more for our community and beyond.
To help us continue these efforts, the SUMB will again be holding a fundraiser SUMB Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 24, 2027 at Eagles Crossings Golf Course in Carlisle, PA.
Whether you have sponsored or donated in the past, we are looking to provide additional support for our students and your generosity would be greatly appreciated. We offer different sponsorship opportunities as shown on the enclosed page. Any support you can give to our organization is greatly appreciated!
